 best vision sunglassesAug 26, 2009

I have been using sunglasses with the Corning Optics "Driver" lenses for over 20 years. The clarity, contrast, color saturation, etc that you see while wearing these are all excellent, and in my opinion better than anything else on the market. Serengeti can be difficult to find but it is worth the effort for me.
The Vedi frames are fairly lightweight, comfortable, and fit well.

Serengetti sunglasses are the best sunglasses available for people spending most of their time behind the wheel. They brighten up cloudy days and darken further for sunny days. Glare from the road and water are completed calmed. I would highly recommend these sunglasses.

 Not the right choice to reduce dashboard reflectionJul 31, 2010

These glasses (with Drivers lenses) improve clarity and depth perception, but do not offer much glare or reflection reduction. The glasses are solidly built, comfortable, and perform their main purpose well - but wanted to let people know they do NOT help much with glare or reflection. Specifically, if you have a car with a light dashboard the glasses will NOT help with the reflection of the dashboard on the windshield. I returned these glasses and got a similar pair with the Drivers Polarized lenses. What a difference! The glare and reflection from the dashboard (and other sources) are virtually eliminated, yet you still get all of the clarity and depth perception enhancement offered by the standard Drivers lenses. Here on amazon (and on Serengetis website) you cannot get these exact frames in black with Drivers Polarized lenses, but you can get a similar frame in black with the Polarized lenses. These Serengeti Vedi Drivers sunglasses are truly amazing, especially considering I purchased them for $86. They fit perfectly to my head, which is somewhat small, and the nose peice is extremely comfortable.

I have owned a pair of these sunglasses for years and will probably never own any other type.As long as Serengeti continues to make this style. I am very satisfied with the sunglasses I recieved and with the seller on there prompt delivery.
