Great sunglassesJun 20, 2008
By Richard B. Smith This is the second pair of RB 4075 Polarized glasses. I lost the first pair on my move back from LA. I liked them enough to re-buy them.
The only con with these glasses is if you are switching from glasses that have a thinner arm, you will notice you lose you peripheral vision. The thick arms tend you block you ability to quickly check your blind spot while driving. However you will adjust.
Oh yes, Ray-Ban also adds a "P" after their logo on the lens to indicate that they're Polarized. I think it's a tacky addition.

Brown or Green lens pros and consMar 29, 2011
By Vladimir Nikolov
"Vlad"
I first bought the brown polarized sunglasses (from a land-based shop), and was amazed by the quality of the lens. I spent one whole day with the glasses - on the road in the morning, and then 4-5 hours in the sea in the afternoon with changing weather from bright sun to slightly cloudy. I had no eye tension whatsoever. The only down side of it was that the brown lens was changing the colors too much for my preference and habit (I have always worn gray/green lens before). So in the end I decided to return the brown ones, and order the green polarized lens (this time from Amazon as the price was $80 less, nearly 50%). Now I am wearing the green ones, and I am quite happy with them as they change the colors much less, but simply make them slightly darker and richer. They hide reflections very well and I don't have to strain my eyes. I have to admit though that the brown lens was working better, particularly in sunny to shady area transition - somehow they made environment less sharp and very easy to the eye. The green ones don't do so well in this case, but they are fine when you are on the road and they reduce reflections and bright light just fine. But if I didn't have that problem with the changed colors, I would have definitely gone for the brown lens.
In regard to other models of sunglasses out there, I really love these, as they don't stick out of my face, and also fit well to a wide nose bridge.

A great pair of glassesDec 14, 2010
By BenC9935 I bought a pair of Ray-Ban RB4075-601/58s (black frame, grey polarized lenses) and I am extremely satisfied with the purchase. I had my choices narrowed down to the polarized RB4075s and Costa Del Mar Harpoons with 580 glass lenses, so I went to a local mall and tried them both on. In my opinion, the 4075s TROUNCED the Harpoon 580s on clarity and accurate color representation (both had grey lenses), build quality was a wash as both appear very well made and will likely last for years, the 'Bans provided superior eye coverage, and the level of tint was comparable though the Costas were slightly darker. The Ray-Bans were much more comfortable on my face, I believe they are more attractive and were almost $70 cheaper, so I went with the 4075s. Even had these sunglasses been priced the same I still would have went with the 4075s without hesitation after trying them on. The 4075s are a great pair of glasses for "active" use and they look pretty good too.

Graded Ray-BanJul 11, 2010
By Mete this is very fine sunglases. RB 4075 fits to face ergonomicaly, after wearing for a while you even forget that you have the glass on your face. Graded style of the lenses make you feel very comfortable when you are reading something. I am also very happy with this lenses while driving. I strongly recommend it to everyone.

Great quality lenses!Oct 23, 2009
By John Steed I bought the black frames with the glass G-15 lenses and they're great quality.
I previously had a pair of Ray-bans with plastic lenses and in addition to the concern over scratching them, they just didn't feel substantial enough.
However, the RB4075 has restored my faith in the quality of Ray-ban products!
