But actually, Oakley bonds its polarized glare-protection to the lenses of the Splinter Polarized Sunglasses at a molecular level (instead of slapping a film between the lenses as some companies do). Which means those lab-coat guys are the real deal, and the clarity of your lenses is pretty damn sweet. Besides that, Oakley gave these lightweight, durable frames a sport-like curve to maximize your peripheral vision.

By SRX700 This is my third pair of Oakleys and by far my favorite.. They are nice and light and the Polarized lens is top notch. Do yourself a favor and buy the Oakley case with them

Best Sunglasses ever!!!Oct 03, 2011
By Duane These are by far the best sunglasses I have ever owned. The VR28 polarized lens improve the contrast of everything I see. The spring hinges on the Splinters are comfortable and stay put no matter what I am doing. The lens curvature also minimizes any light coming in from the sides as well. I highly recommend these sunglasses. My only negative comment would be that they are a little pricey but as always you get what you pay for.
