I love Maui Jim sunglasses and have worn them for years. So I was very excited to order the glasses with readers as I am at the age where I need them. I was very pleased with the style, but I am used to no-line bifocals and these have a very noticeable line which is actually very annoying. If you just want to look at your watch, it's fine, but I would not try to read outside with them. The line is way too distracting. If they make a lens that has no lines, I will be the first in line to buy them as Maui Jim's products are superior to any other sunglasses that I've tried.

These Maui Jim readers are fantastic! Use them while driving to read directions with great clarity. Polarized and full fashion and cannot see the readers when looking at the glasses. Excellent quality

I went into the sunglasses store looking for reader sunglasses which are often hard to find. I tried on the cheap pair but they had no polarization. Since I would be using them for driving I asked about polarization and 2.50 readers. To my surprise the salesmen brought out the Maui Jims to let me try them on. That is all it took. I have never seen such clarity in the bright light and great color and contrast. My wife bought them for me for our 29th anniversary, since I hesitated given the price and my tendency to lose my sunglasses. My eyes have never felt so relaxed in the sunshine and the readers are great. They are worth the price. Your eyes will thank you. I will just have to protect them like the very valuable item they are. As the salesmen said, once you go to Maui Jim's you never go back.
