Can't go wrong with Maui JimsJun 21, 2011
By Traderjohn I've purchased one of the titanium styles before, but them too flimsy and hard to wear around. You can't hang them from your shirt/pocket and wearing them on your head seems to stretch them out loosening the fit over time. So I went with wraparounds this time. First I purchased the Stingray thinking the Peahi and Canoes would be too big. The Stingray ended up being too small for me (6' 2", 210#) but fit my wife perfect (5'2" and petite). The Canoes are such a good price on Amazon, I decided to try them as well and I love them. The Stingrays use a glass lens which I like a little more, but the Canoes are larger and lighter. Both are bronze lenses, but the glass is a tab bit sharper. Both lenses are far sharper than the other brands REI carries: Native, Sun Cloud, etc. Also, I think glass on the Canoes would make them quite heavy to wear for prolonged time periods.
She'll be sporting the Stingrays and I'll be sporting the slightly larger Canoes this summer.

great, but too largeJun 03, 2011
By A.M.Valdes I bought this Maui Jim Canoe sunglasses from Amazon as a gift and while they looked great, they turned out to be too big, so they had to be returned.

Nice shadesJun 03, 2011
By CJ Nice shades! Polarized feature works well!
Was a little large for me- not a big fellow.
Ended up purchasing the Stingrays and gifting these to a friend!
Great quality! Would purchase Maui Jim products again!

NOT MADE IN CHINAMay 01, 2011
By Outback Jack These fit my big head well. I have a big head and face, these are great for me. Glad I bought Maui Jim brand. The view through these is amazing. Polarized is the way to go, everything looks much better to me outside, and so easy on the eyes. These are worth every penny, and paid a lot more for these somewhere else. I have always spend $10 - $15 on sunglasses, never again. Company is based in Hawaii, and this model I have was made in Japan, very high quality.
Happy husbandNov 26, 2011
By Colleen S Corrigan I bought these for my husband for his birthday, he shows everyone them. He loves them and wears them everyday. I bought them for a fishing trip, however, he uses them every day. He used to only like Rayban, no more!
