 I'm very pleased with these sunglasses.Mar 25, 2009

I bought the Bolle "Slap" sunglasses with "shiny black" frames and TNS (True Neutral Shade) lenses. These sunglasses, listed at Bolle's website as sized for "medium/large," fit me perfectly. I was hesitant about buying sunglasses online without trying them on first - there are no stores near me that carry Bolle sunglasses - but in this case I lucked out. I like how their shape looks on my face better than I like how my nearly 20 year old pair of Ray Ban cat's eye sunglasses look on me. And the TNS lenses are amazingly clear and distortion free, and just as described at Bolle's site, they allow true colors through. I would've gone for polarized lenses but I didn't want to spend that much on shades. The frames look and feel a lot stronger than the frames on a more expensive pair of Oakley's that I got nearly 10 years ago; the Oakley frames finally cracked (and their lenses were inferior to the lenses on both the Bolle and Ray Ban shades in that they distorted things).
That a semi-hard case is included is nice. An added convenience is that the case has a clip on it that can be attached to a belt loop, some type of carry bag, keychain, etc. A cleaning cloth is also included.
They feel good too; very comfortable to wear.
I bought a pair of Bolle Tease sunglasses for my adult daughter. The Tease is from the same line (Fusion) as the Slap, and the sunglasses I gave her have the same lenses as the Slap under review. She loves them and says that the lenses are clearer than any other pair of sunglasses she's ever owned.

Beware, fellow online shoppers. These sunglasses are enormous! I'm a fairly average sized person with an average sized head (I wear a size 7 hat) and these things cover more than half of my face. It would be helpful if amazon supplied a picture of them on a model or a mannequin.
Also, I understand that some large, bug-eyed sunglasses are fashionable, or at least they were last summer, so if that's the look you're going for, you'll probably appreciate these.
